In Celtic mythology, animals from the Otherworld are glistening white with bright red eyes. I love this imagery, as well as the legend of the Wild Hunt.
XP-Pen Challenge
Elk are commonly depicted as forest kings/deities in northern european mythologies. I wanted to play with that idea as well as the legend of elves throughout those cultures in this piece.

I wanted to have fun and illustrate a variety of dresses to create interesting shapes and a strong feeling of movement, so I drew dresses from basically all different eras of European fashion history.
