I’m a storyteller; I illustrate characters with stories. There is incredible power to connect people through art, and despite how cheesy and embarrassingly earnest it is to say that, that connection is the main driving force in my continued creation. To see. To be seen, The triumph of the human spirit. All that jazz. I believe in and thoroughly love exploring the subtle details to engage with the sense of realness in a character and creating something worth the thought and time that goes into it. I love seeing characters that are imperfect and weird and utterly lame; call me Narcissus.
I’ve contributed to multiple fanzines as a page artist and have contributed merch and the cover of one as well. I’m currently teaching myself how to storyboard. My goal is to work professionally as an illustrator, character designer, or prop designer, however I would love to have a job in any artistic capacity. I’m very excited to begin that journey.
